Considering a move to Lewistown, MT? We were in your shoes just a few years ago! We made the move in 2024 and it's possibly the best decision we've ever made as a family. Not knowing anyone in this Central Montana town, it was a giant leap of faith moving away from our wonderful community in Bozeman. But we are so grateful we did!

Our family’s story in Lewistown began long before we officially moved here. I, Anne Sorensen, grew up in Seattle but spent my childhood Summers on my grandparents’ cattle ranch about 25 miles northeast of Lewistown. We rode horses, moved cows, and rode along with Grandpa in the tractor, bailing hay. Grandma tended her apple orchard while we dug for worms for fishing trout at the Lake in the evenings. Those early experiences shaped my love for Montana’s land, animals, and ranching heritage. In 2022, my husband, Justin, and I were fortunate to purchase that beloved ranch—a dream that soon led us to make Lewistown our permanent home.
Moving to a small town where we initially knew very few people made us feel like pioneers! To our delight, we soon discovered a very welcoming community defined by authenticity, generosity, and family-oriented Montana values. Our four children quickly became involved in local sports, FFA, church activities, hunting classes, and marching band. We had been in Lewistown about two months when Justin and I looked at each other and agreed that we'd found our forever home.
Professionally, our move to Lewistown allowed us to pursue our love of real estate. Justin established his own business as a licensed property manager while I became a licensed Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montana Properties. Together, we love interacting with and helping our clients discover the remarkable real estate opportunities found here—from historic homes and investment properties to legacy ranches and recreational retreats. Central Montana truly has something for everyone!
It would be an honor to introduce you to Lewistown. Our family loves meeting new people and is always happy to share our favorite local experiences—from restaurants and live music to rodeos, hiking and biking trails, fishing and hunting spots, river floats, and the can't-miss annual festivals that make Lewistown such a wonderful place to live.
